Before Lucy came Ardi, new earliest hominid found #evolution #darwin

Here is an interesting article on a current new finding and the current thinking around evolution. I just have been listening through iTunes U (education podcast, etc.) a series of speakers that Cambridge University had commemorating the anniversaries of Charles Darwin's birth and the publishing of On the Origin of the Species. Evolution, non-evolution, creationism, etc. aside these are both very interesting items for people to ponder. I think that people whom have not read any of Darwin's work would find his struggles with reconciling some of the issues related to evolution, or assumptions about what he actually wrote. In this blog post, I made an assumption about the title of the above book (that I have since corrected).

Brown's Lost Symbol

Just finished Dan Brown's "The Lost Symbol". It is good but did not have the intensity of some of the other stuff he has done. However, many of the themes resonated with me.

The Lost Symbol

Making my way through Dan Brown's "The Lost Symbol" -- seems pretty good so far (100 + pages through it). Eerie how some experiences in there are similar to some that I have had myself. Like I have done work in meta systems. I have to the Institute of Noetic Sciences at the request of a friend. I know these are small things but it is interesting to me.
